Ashton is keeping things interesting with the release of the San Cristobal Ovation and La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse limited edition cigars. The San Cristobal Ovation is the first limited edition cigar to carry the San Cristobal name. La Aroma de Cuba’s Noblesse is back for the second time, originally making an appearance in the Fall of 2014.
The San Cristobal Ovation is “handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua by legendary cigar-maker, Jose “Pepin” Garcia, San Cristobal Ovation is an opulent cigar, drawn from only the finest and rarest tobaccos grown on Garcia family estates in honor of the brand’s influential reception. A dark and lustrous San Andrés Oscuro wrapper emerges from an intensive two-and-a-half-year double-fermentation to reveal an approachable and captivating richness. Articulate notes of dark cocoa, wood and leather register with bottomless intrigue veiled beneath a creamy potency. Ovation concludes with sweet hickory aromas and substantial, prolonged gratification” says Ashton. Only 3,000 boxes of this limited edition cigar were produced.
Ashton calls the La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse, “An ultra-rare cigar of the finest quality. Silky Habano Rosado wrappers envelop a stunning blend of Habano and Criollo double binders, and an aged selection of filler tobaccos from the Garcia family’s farms in three key growing regions: Estelí, Jalapa and Namanji. Medium- to full-bodied, Noblesse brandishes hearty notes of earth, toast, creamy oak, succulent cocoa and bright spices”.
