Davidoff has just rolled out their newest Art Edition release for 2017. The 2017 Davidoff Art Edition features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, with several Brazilian and Dominican fillers. The result is a medium bodied cigar that delivers unparalleled flavor ranging from Spice, Salted Caramel, Dark Coffee, Cream, and Oak.
This year’s release is a 6 x 54 Toro, a departure from the previous years’ Perfecto format. The Toro is a more approachable and familiar format to the modern cigar smoker, affording Davidoff the ability to reach into a larger audience. The slightly thicker format will also contribute to a creamier, smoother smoke.
This years’ Davidoff Art Edition features the works of Rodell Warner, an artist from Trinidad and Tobago. Five of his works were commissioned to adorn the front of these boxes. Only 1,000 boxes of each work of art will be produced, for a total of 5,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
