Review: Davidoff Chef’s Edition 2016

Having just arrived at Regency Cigar, we are giving you an exclusive review of the new Davidoff Chef’s Edition 2016.  For those of you not familiar with the Davidoff Chef’s Edition, it was blended to pair well with all sorts of different cuisines and spirits.  It is the PERFECT pairing for any foodie and cocktail enthusiast.

The cigar itself looks Delicious, a dark Habano 2000 wrapper was chosen to adorn this masterpiece of a cigar

This 6 x 54 Toro is generous in the sense that it will leave you Satisfied, a perfect end to a perfect night

The Davidoff Chef’s Edition tastes even better than it looks.  The first third is dominated by a spiced earthiness reminiscent of the Colorado Claro, with a kiss of chai.  Towards the middle, the cigar settles into a distinguished oak and almond medley.  Chai is still present, teasing the palate with its distinctive depth of complexity.  Spice, clove, tea, sweet, heat.  The cigar’s finish is subtle, walking you through each note for one final bite.

This is one of Davidoff’s most balanced and complex blends to date.  For each note you pick up on, you find another that will pair with it.  With only 1,500 boxes being produced, this cigar will definitely be sought out after it’s gone.
