The Opus X Society Sampler pairs the two cigars that define the Opus X Society line so far. One cigar is La Edición de la Sociedad, the original release. The other is Gold & Bullet: Episodio Uno, the newest chapter in the story.
Carlito Fuente Jr. and Manny Iriarte created the Opus X Society together, and each release builds on the one before it. Consequently, tasting both cigars side by side shows how the line has evolved since its debut.
Because both cigars share that same creative partnership, the sampler works less like two random cigars and more like a single story told in two parts.
This set includes one La Edición de la Sociedad, a 6 1/4 x 49 Grand Corona. It also includes one Gold & Bullet: Episodio Uno, a larger 6 3/4 x 50 vitola released as the first entry in Fuente’s new Society Chronicles series.
Both cigars come from Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia as true Dominican puros. However, Fuente keeps the exact blend of each cigar undisclosed, adding to their mystique.
La Edición de la Sociedad launched in 2023 as the founding release of the Opus X Society. Manny Iriarte helped shape the cigar alongside Carlito Fuente Jr., and Fuente packaged it in a striking blue and gold box with a certificate of authenticity.
Consequently, this cigar remains the benchmark against which every later Society release gets measured.
Gold & Bullet: Episodio Uno followed as the second overall Opus X Society release and opens Fuente’s new Society Chronicles series. Fuente has confirmed a production run of 2,400 numbered boxes worldwide.
For collectors who already own one Society release, this sampler is the fastest way to fill in the other. Meanwhile, first-time buyers get to compare the line’s origin and its latest chapter without committing to two full boxes.
