In a significant victory for proponents of anti-tobacco measures, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has upheld a groundbreaking generational tobacco ban endorsed by voters and implemented by the town of Brookline. This legislation prohibits individuals born after January 1, 2000, from purchasing tobacco products and e-cigarettes, effectively paving the way for what has been termed a tobacco-free generation.
Associate Justice Dalila Argaez Wendlandt, in her ruling, emphasized the alignment of the bylaw with local regulations permitting the restriction or prohibition of tobacco sales. She stated, "The bylaw is rationally connected to a legitimate government interest and does not conflict with the minimum age standard set by the state."
The initiative originated from a November 2020 vote in Brookline, Massachusetts, where residents approved an amendment to municipal laws, enforcing the ban on tobacco and e-cigarette sales to those born after January 1, 2000. Following

We are proud to intoduce something new from Padron CIgars; theblack-banded Padrón PB97, which made its debut at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show.
The Padrón Black PB97 is available in both Natural and Maduro variations, crafted entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco and shaped into a 6 3/4 x 54 torpedo vitola. Jorge Padrón indicated to halfwheel that the Padrón Black series offers a profile that falls between the Serie 1926 and Family Reserve lines in terms of richness.
While specific production figures have not been disclosed, Padrón mentioned that the PB97 will be a one-time release, exclusively available to retailers who attended the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show and placed orders during the event.

nce again, Tatuaje has unveiled an exclusive cigar crafted solely for retailers attending the PCA Convention & Trade Show. This edition mirrors the size of its counterpart designed for the Tobacconists’ Association of America. However, distinguished by its Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, unlike the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper of the TAA's version. Tatuaje reaffirms its commitment by pledging a donation of 50 cents per cigar to both organizations, resulting in a total contribution of $25,000 each to the PCA and the TAA.

Imagined on the occasion of the new Chinese year under the sign of the Dragon, this collection celebrates the legendary creature as much as the know-how of S.T. Dupont. The writing instruments, lighters and cigar accessories reinvent the iconic know-how of the house with the creation of a new Guilloche Dragon Scales. At the same time imprints of tradition and furiously modern, three lines constitute the Dragon collection: Dragon Red, Dragon Black and Dragon Color Animation.
The Dragonlines see the iconic products of S.T. Dupont to adorn themselves with a dragon inspired by anime and street art. The initial phase of La Union, a collaboration between My Father and Tatuaje, is nearing completion for shipment to retailers.
There are four distinct blends, each crafted into a 7 1/4 x 50 double corona with a 109-style cap. While two of the cigars were meticulously blended by the García family of My Father, Pete Johnson of Tatuaje crafted the other two.
These cigars are packaged in boxes of 40. To symbolize the union, each box contains 20 cigars blended by the Garcías and 20 blended by Johnson. The first set of these boxes, the black ones, are almost prepared for distribution to retailers.
La Union - Tatuaje for My Father (Black) utilizes a wrapper of shade-grown Nicaraguan corojo 99, whereas La Union - My Father for Tatuaje (Black) employs an Ecuadorian habano wrapper.Regarding the other two cigars, the Tatuaje in the upcoming red box showcases an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, while the cigar crafted by the Garcías features a Connecticut br
