    The Tatuaje Escasos

One of the newest edition to the Tatuaje line up of cigars is the Escasos, which means rare. This a cigar that has been in the works for the better part of a decade. This line by Pete Johnson is unique and special for a few reasons. Firstly, all of the tobacco used for Escasos would be of a Havana-seed origin and secondly, all of the cigars would be produced in Miami. The Escasos line allowed Johnson to release unique, experimental and limited production product out of the Miami facility. As it currently exists the Escasos line features the six original sizes of the Selección de Cazador line, more commonly referred to as the Brown Label. The cigars feature an Ecuadorian grown Habano wrapper leaf; over Nicaraguan binder and filler. These cigars will be very limited in quantity with small amounts of boxes, released occasionally. Only a small handfull of retailers have been presented the unique oppurtunity to offer this special cigar. We are more than thrilled to have been selected as one

The Ashton Estate Sun Grown (ESG) was originally conceived in 2005 to celebrate Ashtons 20th anniversary. This cigar is a unique collaboration between between Carlos Fuente Jr. and Ashton to celebrate the anniversary.Probably the thing that makes this cigar so special is the fact that it uses wrapper leaf from Chateau de la Fuente. This is the Fuente family farm where the Fuente Fuente OpusX wrapper tobacco is grown; It was produced at the Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia factory. Over the next 5 years ashton released an addition size to the line. Given the special nature and rarity of the tobacco used these cigars can be limited and more difficult to find.

    Tasting Notes:

The Liga Privada T52 has proven itself over the last decade to be worthy of the Liga Privada name. The cigar is ideal for Liga fans looking for a slightly bolder and fuller bodied smoking experience. The cigar was originally blended, as a personal blend for Drew Estates former president Steve Saka. The T52 features a variety of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Habano wrapper used on the Liga Privada T52 is stalk-cut. that the stalk-cutting process adds a depth of flavor to the finished leaf not found in traditionally primed tobacco. The cigar provides ample notes of cedar, earth and sweetness. All of these rich flavors are balanced nicely by notes of pepper, that are especially present on the retrohale. As the weather begins to cool here in New England many cigar smokers are reaching into their humidor for smaller sizes. Luckily for us Drew Estates has added a variety
