As with all Davidoff cigars, expert care was taken to blend just the right tobacco to create the right amount of intensity and smoothness in this medium bodied cigar. The Ashton Estate Sun Grown (ESG) was originally conceived in 2005 in celebration of the brands 20th anniversary. The cigar hit humidor shelf's the following year in 2006; with the 20-Year Salute, a 6.75 x 49 Churchill, to commemorate Ashton’s 20th anniversary. In each subsequent year following, an additional shape was introduced, including the 21-Year Salute (Robusto), 22-Year Salute (Pyramid), 23-Year Salute (Toro), and 24-Year Salute (Perfecto).What makes this cigar so special is undoubtedly its wrapper leaf. It shares the same wrapper as another iconic cigar Fuentes Opus X.
