Arturo Fuente Cigars

Join us in commemorating the union of two legendary families, united by tradition, camaraderie, and a shared appreciation for the finest cigars.This is being done in the form of the Fuente y Padrón Legends collaboration.The brainchild of Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. and Jorge Padrón, the project serves as a tribute to their respective fathers. The outcome is two meticulously crafted extremely rare cigars, symbolizing the enduring influence of Carlos A. Fuente, Sr. and José O. Padrón. Both cigars are 7 x 50 Churchills; the cigar made by Fuente is round, the cigar made by Padrón is box-pressed. No blend details about either cigar have been disclosed.

Fuente y Padrón Legends, the collaborative project between Arturo Fuente and Padrón, will not be heading to stores this year. In late November, Arturo Fuente shipped the first 750 boxes out of the roughly 2,000 that were made to the U.S. Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. announced the shipment on social media. In the two weeks since, it became apparent that there was an issue that prevented the first batch of cigars—which are expected to be distributed by Padrón—from being released.

As it turns out, some of the boxes in one of the two shipping containers arrived to Tampa damaged. The two companies say that they will delay the release and inspect each box individually, which necessitates the delay.The two companies have yet to offer an updated schedule for the initial shipment of Legends to retail outlets; all that is known is that it won't happen in the current month. In early 2020, Carlos Fuente Jr. announced  that Arturo Fuente would release a special version of its popular Hemingway line with a rosado wrapper as an exclusive for retailers that attended the 2020 PCA Convention & Trade Show. That project was unfortunately put on hold due to the Covid pandemic. Luckily the wait is over and the special project is back on track.

The cigar is called the Arturo Fuente Hemingway OpusX, a cigar that is described as unique compared to the existing OpusX blends. Fuente Jr. says this is a tribute to his father, the late Carlos Fuente Sr., who created the Hemingway brand in the 1980s. It will be offered in a special 7 x 50 size and it will be sold, at least for now, in a special Elie Bleu humidor that was designed by Elie Bleu and Manny Iriarte, a longtime Arturo Fuente collaborator. Announced over three years ago in the summer of 2019 by Prometheus and God of Fire cigars, the new KKP Special Reserve has arrived. The blend was created to celebrate the company's 15th anniversary but several delays pushed the product's release back. The cigar for now will be offered in  two different sizes: God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Piramide 58s (5 1/4 x 58) and Gran Toro 56s (6 x 56).As far as the blend goes;  the cigar is a Dominican puro made by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic. The cigars are beautifully packaged in 10 count boxes that are able to double as a travel humidor. The humidors feature Macassar Ebony and are produced by Prometheus.
