Cigar Overview: Liga Privada T52

The Liga Privada T52 was originally released in 2009, as a humidor companion to the original Liga Privada cigar; the Number 9. The Liga Privada T52 has proven itself over the last decade to be worthy of the Liga Privada name. The cigar is ideal for Liga fans looking for a slightly bolder and fuller bodied smoking experience. The cigar was originally blended, as a personal blend for Drew Estates former president Steve Saka. The T52 features a variety of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Habano wrapper used on the Liga Privada T52 is stalk-cut. that the stalk-cutting process adds a depth of flavor to the finished leaf not found in traditionally primed tobacco. The cigar provides ample notes of cedar, earth and sweetness. All of these rich flavors are balanced nicely by notes of pepper, that are especially present on the retrohale. As the weather begins to cool here in New England many cigar smokers are reaching into their humidor for smaller sizes. Luckily for us Drew Estates has added a variety of new smaller sizes to the Liga Privada lines. They have added three new sizes; Corona Viva(6 x 46), Short Panatela(4.2 X 46), and Petit Corona(4.5X 40). This is a great opportunity as the weather gets colder to get a rich, full flavored and full bodied smoking experience in a shorter amount of time.
