As with all fine things in life – scotches, bourbons, wines, cigars and the like – the best of those are what we personally enjoy the most. My son and I have a favorite smoke – Plasencia Alma Fuerte Generacion V Salomon – and decided to try the Davidoff Aniversario #3 sampler. They were smooth cigars but to us lacked the elegant character and full, balanced flavors of the Plasencia. Given the price, not one we'd return to.
