KKP Special Reserve Sampler
The KKP Special Reserve Sampler puts every size in the God of Fire KKP Special Reserve line into one order. In total, the set gathers a Toro Extra 54, a Gran Toro 56, and a Piramide 58. Because each vitola carries a different ring gauge and length, the blend behaves a little differently in each one. As a result, this sampler works less like a bundle discount and more like a tasting flight.
KKP Sampler — Three Vitolas, One Rare Wrapper
Every cigar in the KKP Special Reserve Sampler starts with the same Very Special Wrapper. In fact, Fuente grows that wrapper exclusively at Château de la Fuente. Additionally, Fuente uses the bottom priming of that wrapper for KKP Special Reserve, paired with well-aged Dominican binder and filler. Consequently, the wrapper stays constant across all three vitolas. The size and shape are what change from cigar to cigar.
What’s Inside the KKP Sampler
First, this set includes one Toro Extra 54, a 6 ¼-inch cigar with a 54 ring gauge. The sampler also includes one Gran Toro 56, a slightly shorter 6-inch cigar with a wider 56 ring gauge. Finally, the third cigar is a Piramide 58 — a 5 ¼-inch figurado tapering to a sharp point. Together, the three vitolas span the full range Fuente rolls for this blend.
The Prometheus Collaboration Behind God of Fire
God of Fire began in 2004 as a collaboration between Carlito Fuente Jr. and Prometheus International founder Keith K. Park. The KKP initials on the band are Park’s own, a detail that signals how personal this line is to him. In 2022, Fuente introduced KKP Special Reserve to mark Prometheus’s 30th anniversary. Two years later, the Toro Extra 54 joined the line for God of Fire’s own 20th anniversary. Since then, Fuente has shipped KKP Special Reserve to authorized retailers in very limited quantities.
Three Sizes, Three Different Smokes
The Toro Extra 54 is the newest and boldest of the three, with the widest ring gauge in the sampler. The Gran Toro 56 splits the difference — full-bodied like the Toro Extra, but with a shorter smoking time. The Piramide 58 tapers to a point, which concentrates the smoke and sharpens the draw as the cigar burns down. Trying all three back to back is the fastest way to feel how vitola shape changes the same blend.
Why Try the KKP Special Reserve Sampler
Notably, Regency Cigar is an authorized God of Fire dealer. Every cigar in the KKP Special Reserve Sampler ships from verified allocation. For collectors who already know the blend, this sampler is an easy way to fill a gap in the humidor. Whichever vitola was missing before, it’s now part of the set. For everyone else, however, it’s a low-risk way to find which of the three shapes fits their smoking habits best.
