ST Dupont Orlinski Collection
The ST Dupont Orlinski Collection brings together French luxury craftsmanship and contemporary sculpture. ST Dupont partnered with artist Richard Orlinski to reimagine several of the Maison’s most iconic pieces. Notably, this marks the brand’s first collaboration with a visual artist of Orlinski’s stature.
ST Dupont has built lighters and writing instruments since 1872. Consequently, adapting that century-old tradition to Orlinski’s bold, angular style marked a real shift for the house.
As a result, the collection reworks familiar ST Dupont silhouettes entirely through Orlinski’s visual language. Sharp facets, vivid color, and sculptural texture replace the brand’s more traditional finishes.
The collection spans five core pieces: the Ligne 2 lighter, the Line D Eternity pen, the Biggy lighter, the Slimmy lighter, and the Initial ballpoint pen. Each carries Orlinski’s signature Kong motif in some form.
Additionally, ST Dupont introduced a new brushed gold finish specifically for this collaboration, paired with a metal Kong inlay on the Ligne 2. Palladium and gold versions further showcase brushed, sandblasted, and polished textures.
Richard Orlinski ranks among the best-selling contemporary artists in France. His Born Wild series turned animal forms into faceted, pop-art sculptures, and his Kong figure has become the artist’s most recognized work.
Consequently, that same Kong appears throughout this collection, from a small metal inlay on a lighter to a full sculptural centerpiece.
