Davidoff Puro Dominicano cigars showcase the richness of Dominican tobacco through a bold and refined Dominican puro. This release expands the Davidoff Black Band Collection and highlights the island’s diverse terroirs while maintaining the precision and balance that define every Davidoff cigar.
The Black Band Collection represents Davidoff’s spirit of exploration. While the classic White Band line focuses on elegance and tradition, the Black Band series pushes flavor and origin in new directions. Puro Dominicano continues that evolution with a cigar built entirely from Dominican tobacco.
Davidoff blends tobaccos from six regions across the Dominican Republic to create this puro. The wrapper comes from Yamasá, the binder from Martín García, and the filler includes leaves from Villa González, Mao, Navarrete, Piloto, and Yamasá. Each region contributes its own character, creating a blend rooted in Dominican soil.
Davidoff’s master blenders selected high-grade tobaccos with a combined age of 32 years. This careful aging creates a cigar with rich flavor, smooth transitions, and the consistent performance expected from Davidoff.
Puro Dominicano draws inspiration from Dominican amber, a rare gemstone found near Santiago. Just as amber forms deep within the earth, this cigar reflects the depth and heritage of Dominican tobacco.
The line comes in three vitolas that showcase the blend in different ways:
Short Robusto – Bold flavor with faster evolution
Corona Larga – Longer format with smoother progression
Perfecto – A tapered shape that builds complexity throughout the smoke
