The Atabey brand draws its name from the revered Supreme Deity of the Taino Indians, recognized as the first female entity in the world and deeply venerated by the now-extinct Taino civilization of the Caribbean Islands. Atabey, symbolizing the Mother Goddess, embodies multifaceted aspects of fertility, birth, and the lunar and aquatic realms, crucial for sustaining life and agriculture among the Tainos.
