La Flor Dominicana La Volcada
Litto Gomez, co-owner of La Flor Dominicana, was born in Spain but raised in Uruguay, a country often credited with the invention of the tango, although this claim is contested by proud Argentinians. Despite the ongoing debate over its origins, the tango remains a beloved cultural symbol of Uruguay. In homage to this cultural legacy, Gomez has introduced La Volcada, a new cigar brand named after one of the tango’s iconic steps. The cigar is available in a single size, a 7-inch by 48 ring gauge Churchill, featuring a dark San Andrés wrapper adorned with a meticulously crafted coiled cap. The filler tobaccos are exclusively sourced from Gomez’s farm in La Canela, Dominican Republic, while the binder is Ecuadoran Corojo, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavors and textures.
Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés
Filler: Dominican
Binder: Ecuadorian Corojo
