The Meerapfel Richard cigar pays homage to President Jeremiah Meerapfel’s father, Richard Meerapfel, and the family’s rich tobacco heritage. Richard Meerapfel is credited with what the family calls “the miracle of Cameroon tobacco.” The Richard Double Robusto, the first of seven sizes in the Richard line, measures 5 ¾” x 52. Unlike the other sizes, the Double Robusto is packaged in ornate caskets, with the bottom of each box designed to serve as either a display tray or an ashtray.

The blend details remain mostly undisclosed, except for the use of a Cameroon wrapper. Jeremiah Meerapfel’s aim with this line is clear: to elevate premium cigars to a new echelon he terms “UberLuxury.”
