A New Offering From JC Newman: Angel Cuesta

Named after Angel LaMadrid Cuesta, one of the founders of the renowned Cuesta-Rey cigar brand, this historic cigar label was introduced a hundred years ago. These cigars were designated as the official choice of King Alfonso XIII, who governed Spain from 1886 to 1931. Crafted in the esteemed American Room at J.C. Newman's iconic El Reloj cigar factory situated in Tampa, Florida, also known as the Cigar City, Angel Cuesta cigars boast an exquisite Ecuador Havana Rosado wrapper. They comprise a blend of well-aged binder and filler tobaccos sourced from three continents, along with a pigtail cap. These cigars are available in three different sizes and come in cabinets of 20 cigars.

Two highly skilled rollers, who have been in the industry for many years, produce a combined total of 150 Angel Cuesta cigars every day. J.C. Newman initially introduced Angel Cuesta exclusively to 25 TAA members, but plans to expand the availability of these unique cigars to other high-end cigar retailers
