Tatuaje Drops Another Bomb This Summer With The T110

Tatuaje has been on fire this summer releasing some extremely rare, unique and down right tasty cigars; including the New Escasos luxury sizes and a blast from the past in the form of the Fausto Old Man and the C. Now into July they are keeping things rolling with the release of the T110 in both Broadleaf and Sumatra. Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson nicknamed it “Thermonuclear.” Its official name hints at this moniker. The “T” in the T110 stands for thermonuclear, and the “110” refers to its length in millimeters. The T110 was originally released as a store exclusive way back in 2009 featuring a Habano wrapper. The two new variants swap out the Ecuadorian habano wrapper of the original cigar for either a Connecticut broadleaf or Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf, both of which Johnson uses elsewhere in his portfolio of cigars. The cigars are all short robustos that measure 4 3/8 x 52, and use the same Nicaraguan binder and filler across the three variations. These full bodied beauties will be extremel

  4. EPC Brings Back a Cigar From the Past: In the Form of the Short Run 2021

EPC Brings Back a Cigar From the Past: In the Form of the Short Run 2021

EPC as a brand was created way back in the year 2010. At that time one of their core lines was the “Short Run”. The idea behind the short run was to utilize scarce and unique tobaccos that were not plentiful enough to produce a regular line. Today this is common practice in the industry. The last time Perez-Carillo produced a short run was in 2016. Now in 2021 the short run is back; utilizing the original band from 2010. As a result you will see “Retro” stamped on each box. The Short Run blend, by its design, changes each year, so don’t expect the 2021 release to taste like releases from the past. The 2021 Short Run Retro is made with an Ecuador Habano wrapper, binder from Nicaragua and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. The first production will include three sizes. A Short Play (5 x 50), Extended Play (6 x 52), Long Play (6 x 60). The first production will be extremely limited to only 40,000 and 150 retailers.

Tatuaje Cigars Adding Luxury To Its Escasos Line

Tatuaje is adding some luxury to its already popular Escasos line in the form of four new sizes. The word Escasos translates to scarce or rare from Spanish—and as its meaning suggests, is made up of extremely limited cigars rolled at the El Rey de Los Habanos factory located in Miami. Rumors of these new sizes have been swirling around the industry since early 2013. The four “luxury” sizes include Tatuaje Petite Église (5 x 50), Tatuaje Clos L’Église (5 x 52), Tatuaje Gran Cazador (8 x 52), Tatuaje Gran Tatuaje (9 x 55). These cigars are without question the highest end and most meticulously crafted cigars Pete Johnson has ever released. Johnson has stated that only a handful of select rollers are allowed to roll these cigars. With only one roller producing the Gran Tatuaje vitola. All of these rollers have been rolling tatuaje cigars since the brand's inception. Visually the cigars are beautiful and come in individual coffins. To say we can't wait to smoke some of these cigars would be
