The Newest AVO: The Syncro Caribe

AVO Cigars expands its Syncro line with the new AVO Syncro Caribe. The AVO Syncro series is centered around the idea of tobacco synchronization. According to the brand tobacco synchronization is the incorporation of the diversity, complexity and compatibility of selected tobaccos from varying regions. The Caribe is no exception to this ideology and might be the most unique cigar in the Syncro line up. The Caribe was blended to shine a spotlight on the Caribbean and the tobacco it produces. The cigar was also created to showcase a process Davidoff is calling ‘Natural Distribution’ in which the proportions of the tobaccos on any given plant is perfectly matched in the blending process. Specifically, the ratios of tobaccos from each priming are matched in the blend in all vitolas. The cigar incorporates binder and filler from the Dominican, Ecuador with a touch of tobacco from Nicaragua; the wrapper is Dominican.Aromatic spices and complex cocoa notes flo

The Most Luxurious Cigar On The Planet: The Oro Blanco

There isn't a cigar brand on the planet that imparts luxury and sophistication quite like Davidoff. At this point Davidoff is synonymous with class, quality, and complexity. One of their cigars in particular takes all of the above to another level. The cigar in question is none other than the Davidoff Oro Blanco. Master Blender Eladio Diaz is the sole person to approve the release of this remarkable one of a kind cigar. The Oro Blanco consists of the world's rarest tobacco , harvested in 2000-2001 crop planted in one of the richest soils in all of the Dominican Republic. Once the exquisite tobacco is harvested it is then aged for more than 12 years. Once the aging and curing is complete. Each cigar is rolled only by Davidoff’s most skilled rollers with over 15 years experience. Once the cigar is rolled there is an additional year of aging, at which each cigar is reviewed and approved by Master Blender Eladio Diaz.Beyond the cigar the packaging is world class and probably the most luxurious. A personal favorite of mine and what i often think of as a “slpet on offering from Davidoff is their Escurio line. The Escurio line was released by Davidoff in 2015 and marked the companies second installment of their Discovery series of cigars; right behind the Nicaraguan. The discovery series focused on spotlighting tobaccos outside of the Dominican Republic. The Escurio focuses on the country of Brazil which produces some of the most unique tobaccos in the world

    Wrapper: Ecuador Habano

    Review:

For me every line of cigars has a size that fits the blend perfectly. In the Escurios case its the corona gorda. A corona gorda is without a doubt one of my favorite sizes and its no exception here. This 6 x 48 cigar always smokes beautifully and packs a ton of flavor. The cigar starts off with rich n
