Davidoff Escurio Corona Gorda Review

A personal favorite of mine and what i often think of as a “slpet on offering from Davidoff is their Escurio line. The Escurio line was released by Davidoff in 2015 and marked the companies second installment of their Discovery series of cigars; right behind the Nicaraguan. The discovery series focused on spotlighting tobaccos outside of the Dominican Republic. The Escurio focuses on the country of Brazil which produces some of the most unique tobaccos in the world

Review:

For me every line of cigars has a size that fits the blend perfectly. In the Escurios case its the corona gorda. A corona gorda is without a doubt one of my favorite sizes and its no exception here. This 6 x 48 cigar always smokes beautifully and packs a ton of flavor. The cigar starts off with rich notes of cedar and earth; incorporating a unique salty component that I personally love in a cigar. As the cigar continues a subtle nuttinies and spice join the fold with some sweetness on the finish. Personally my favorite combination in a cigar is sweetness and spice. Few cigars accomplish that better than the Davidoff Escurio.
