Back in 2014 that cigar was released at a 500 dollar price point; which surprisingly has not changed over the years. The stockpile of cigars are now dwindling and are more coveted than ever before. Davidoff has decided to raise the price to reflect the current insutry climate.If you put it into perspective the increase is minor considering its been almost 10 years.The Oro Blanco consists of the world's rarest tobacco , harvested in 2000-2001 crop planted in one of the richest soils in all of the Dominican Republic. Once the exquisite tobacco is harvested it is then aged for more than 12 years. Once the aging and curing is complete. Each cigar is rolled only by Davidoff’s most skilled rollers with over 15 years experience. Tuesday April 13 2022 saw Regency Cigar Emporium LLC hosting the ultimate cigar-tasting event, an exclusive evening for just 30 VIP guests. This prestigious event featured the crown jewel of cigars, the Davidoff Oro Blanco.
Owner of Regency Cigar Emporium, Michael Correia and Davidoff Americas President, Dylan Austin, jointly hosted a unique evening. Its staggering price tag of $500 makes the Oro Blanco one of the world’s most expensive cigar. The VIP guests enjoyed a special evening that few aficionados will ever experience; even with an entry fee of $500, the event sold out well ahead of the date.
