  1. Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour: Overview

Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour: Overview

Sir Winston Churchill was known as a man who was apt at avoiding convention. Many say this was his greatest attribute. Davidoff took this to heart in its creation of the Winston Churchill Late Hour. This cigar pushes the envelope when it comes to creativity and flavor. This line is a drastic departure from the original Winston Churchill produced by Davidoff. The Late Hour is a much more robust and full bodied smoke.

The blend utilizes a Habano Ecuador wrapper draped over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. These tobaccos add a spice and depth of flavor that is unrivaled. However, Davidoff took things a step further. To pay homage to Sir Winston's favorite beverage .The Condega Visus tobacco was aged in the finest Scotch single malt whisky casks. As the temperature in the closed casks rises, the tobacco enters a fermentation process. For the next six months the tobacco absorbs the aromas of the cask and whisky. The cask aging is responsible for the sweet tones and the full flavor.

Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario; Cigar Overview

Back in 2006 Prometheus released the first of the Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario. The line was created and specifically blended to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Don Carlos line of cigars. The cigars share many similarities; aside from the wrapper leaf. The wrapper leaf on the regular Don Carlos line is a Cameroon wrapper. The wrapper on the Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario is said to be the same wrapper used on the world renowned Opus X. This wrapper adds a tremendous amount of flavor, complexity and strength to the blend. These fantastic cigars can be difficult to find and scarce in numbers. As a result we feel fortunate to be able to offer such a special cigar to our customers.

God of Fire Serie B: Review

The brand God of Fire was first introduced to humidor shelves all the way back in 2004. From the very beginning the focus was put on producing the highest quality; when it comes to both the smoking experience and presentation. God of Fire features ultra-premium aged tobacco’s and the cigars are produced in what Is arguably the best factory in the world Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in the Dominican Republic. God of Fire cigars have five different blends: KKP Special Reserve, Serie B, Serie Aniversario, By Don Carlos, and By Carlito. For this I’d like to focus on one of my personal favorites the Serie B line of cigars.

The Series B line features some dark wrapper cigars produced by God of Fire. These cigars are some of the richest and most complex; offered by the brand. The Serie B actually features two different wrapper leaves, depending on the size selected. The Double Robusto and Gran Toro features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The Robusto and Robusto Gordo feature an Ecuadorian wra
