The Davidoff Maduro Makes Its Return

Davidoff Cigars introduces its latest limited-edition Maduro collection, captivating aficionados with a rich and robust flavor profile of moderate intensity. This new Maduro series, comprising Toro, Robusto, and Short Corona cigars, follows in the footsteps of the brand's previous 2008 Maduro line. It impresses with an adjusted blend, offering a more harmonious and refined taste experience.

To attain the rich, sweet undertones characteristic of an authentic Maduro cigar experience, Davidoff dedicated 16 months to fermentation and 2 years to aging the tobacco used in this blend. All variants are cloaked in a deep Ecuadorian wrapper sourced from the premium Corte #7 grade, contributing nearly half of the overall aroma. This leaf thrives in the upper echelons of the tobacco plant, basking in ample sunlight, resulting in a robust structure that demands extended natural fermentation. Consequently, Davidoff extended the fermentation period for the Maduro's wrapper leaf, fostering a natural temperature rise within the fermentation pile tailored to the leaf's needs. This elevated heat ultimately imparts the distinctive sweetness, sophistication, and robust flavor characteristic of Maduro cigars.

"In our new Maduro line, time is the critical factor. We eschew external heat sources, allowing nature and time to meticulously refine the leaves in our expertly maintained fermentation pile. This painstaking and time-intensive process, complemented by rigorous testing and followed by extensive aging, has yielded an exquisitely crafted cigar with a flavor profile and body that will captivate the market.
