Davidoff Cigars

This year's Zodiac release for 2023 was the Year of The Rabbit; and was an unequivocal home run. By now many of you have hopefully gotten your hands on and smoked the cigar. However, like most years, Davidoff released some unique and collectible accessories to coincide. This year the piece that caught my eye was The Year of the Rabbit Ashtray. The ashtray itself is an eye-catching piece of art, numbered  to only 150 for the entire world and hand crafted from porcelain in France. It's one of the pieces that photos cant do justice too. The ashtray measures 24cm (9.45in) round x 4cm (1.57in) h. It's made in a way that allows two cigars to be comfortably rested at the same time which is a simple but overlooked design aspect when it comes to ashtrays. 

For the first time ever Davidoff has released an additional size to correspond with the yearly zodiac Davidoff release. This year brought us the Year of The Rabbit in a beautiful perfecto size. However Davidoff has decided to release the cigar in a toro size in extremely limited quantities to an exclusive group of their best retailers.The gran toro utilizes the same tobacco varieties as the Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition 2023 perfecto cigar. Although, the  format and ring gauge of the toro cigar creates a taste experience that comes across as slightly smoother and even more refined. This is probably one of the rarest cigars produced this year and is a must try for any cigar aficionado. Only 600 boxes of this cigar have been produced for the entire planet so we can assure you they wont stick around very long. 

The newest campaign from Davidoff cigars is being called the “Difference” campaign. The initiative is aiming to celebrate the creation and processes behind the making of their white label line of cigars. offers fascinating glimpses behind the scenes of Davidoff's superior efforts. For a strong start, the brand releases a limited edition of its formerly permanent and highly popular Davidoff Classic No. 1 cigar, now called the Davidoff Signature No. 1 Limited EditionCollection. Davidoff has decided to start the celebration with a bang with the release of this classic size. Originally known as the DavidoffClassic No. 1, the Master Blenders have revived the blend we know as Signature. Due to its length and a relatively narrow ring gauge (7.5 X 39), the typical Davidoff Signature flavors are slightly more intense in the Limited Edition. The size will be available in 10 count boxes in extremely limited quantities

Each and every year davidoff releases a special cigar in November that pays homage to the yearly celebration of the Chinese New Year with a limited edition around a Chinese zodiac. To coincide with these special cigars Davidoff also releases some extremely unique and limited accessories.This year Davidoff has chosen to release a cutter and ashtray to coincide with the Year of The Rabbit cigar. Like the cigar each of the accessories is very limited in the quantity produced. The ashtray is hand made in France utilizing the best porcelain and craftsmanship on the planet. Only 150 of these one of a kind ashtray made their way to the US. The cutter is crafted with a  laser-marked pattern featuring  the Year of the Rabbit, this beautiful palladium double blade cutter is truly an eye-catching collectors item; even more limited than the ashtray with only 80 available for US retail.  

It's hard to believe that Davidoffs Oro Blanco was released almost 10 years ago in 2014. Back in 2014 that cigar was released at a 500 dollar price point; which surprisingly has not changed over the years. The stockpile of cigars are now dwindling and are more coveted than ever before. Davidoff has decided to raise the price to reflect the current insutry climate.If you put it into perspective the increase is minor considering its been almost 10 years.The Oro Blanco consists of the world's rarest tobacco , harvested in 2000-2001 crop planted in one of the richest soils in all of the Dominican Republic. Once the exquisite tobacco is harvested it is then aged for more than 12 years. Once the aging and curing is complete. Each cigar is rolled only by Davidoff’s most skilled rollers with over 15 years experience. Once the cigar is rolled there is an additional year of aging, at which each cigar is reviewed and approved by Master Blender Eladio Diaz.Beyond the cigar the packaging is world c
