New Davidoff Cigar Releases

Each and every year davidoff releases a special cigar in November that pays homage to the yearly celebration of the Chinese New Year with a limited edition around a Chinese zodiac. To coincide with these special cigars Davidoff also releases some extremely unique and limited accessories. This year that's been taken to the next level with the release of an extremely special humidor; The Davidoff Masterpiece Humidor. Each of the Year of the Rabbit Masterpiece humidors comes with 88 limited-edition gran toro cigars exclusively crafted for the Masterpiece and the Davidoff Flagship Exclusive. These humidors will be extremely limited with only 25 being made for the entire world. The humidor is designed by Rose Saneuil who is a French artist who has mastered and enhanced the craft of marquetry. She is known for   carefully blending curated materials from several different sources and of different textures, depth and suppleness. This is an extremely unique and collectible humidor and cigar

It's the Limited Edition release we've all been eagerly awaiting the Davidoff’s yearly  celebration  of  a  Chinese  zodiac. 2023 marks the 11th installment of the series and commemorates this year's zodiac sign; the Rabbit. Like all past years this year's cigar comes packaged in beautifully red lacquered 10 count boxes. This year's box pays homage to the rabbit. Its lid tastefully displays the Year of the Rabbit icon. The Year of the Rabbit pattern, inspired by a rabbit’s gentle and steady hops, is visibly raised across the lid. One of the most exciting things about this year is the shape they've chosen to go with a personal favorite of mine, the perfecto. This year's cigar is a beautiful 5 15/16 X 54 perfecto. The blend features a variety of hybrid tobaccos from the Dominican, Nicaragua and Mexico; all of which are aged 4,5 years. Each year Davidoff allows their team of Master blenders the oppurtunity to create a cigar as a gift to celebrate the past year. They have now made a limited number of these very personalcigars available to you, providing the opportunity to taste auniquely crafted blend. The blend itself is very unique; Yamasa tobaccos were aged in Bourbon barrels, which deliver an additional sweetness to the notes of roasted almonds, milk coffee and oak wood. Created as a blend for our Master Blenders to enjoy themselves in 2012, these cigars were rolled two years ago and have been aging under careful supervision ever since. The cigars are extremley limited in quantity produced, with only 1500 boxing reachingthe US. 

The day has arrived and we have received our allotment of the highly anticipated Davidoff Black Band Limited Edition 2022. This cigar was truly crafted to explore what each of the black label brands has to offer. Crafted for those in the mood to explore new tastes and sensations. The Gran Toro size was chosen because the larger ring gauge of 58 allows for an increased amount of the Black Band Collections staple tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Brazil in the filler.This cigar is full of flavor and intensity. Right from the start we get notes of leather, earth and pepper. As the cigar develops further; strong notes of coffee, wood and nuts stimulate the palate, only to conclude in cedar wood, dark chocolate and leather aromas as this the cigar comes to its grand finale. Overall this cigar sounds like an experience of rich and diverse flavors and should be a must try this spring.
