New Davidoff Cigar Releases

The AVO brand over the past decade has released an annual limited edition called the AVO Improvisation. The intention of this release was always to honor the birthday of the brand’s late founder, Avo Uvezian. Avo was a composer who had a passion for life. For him a life that was filled with music and seizing opportunities whenever possible to create rich, noteworthy experiences for all to celebrate.This year's release marks the 10th and final release in the Improvisation line to commemorate this special and iconic milestone. This year was extremely unique because they offered the cigar in 22 count boxes featuring 11 maduro and 11 natural cigars. This was done to pay homage to Avo Uvezian and the black and white keys of a piano.

It's been a little while but Davidoff is reopening its Vaults just in time for the holiday season. The latest vault release comes in the form of the Davidoff Small Batch Exclusive 2018. The cigar was originally crafted by Davidoffs master blenders for a small group of cigar aficionados back in 2018. However thanks to Davidoffs Vault program its now available to the general public to enjoy. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Mexican Sumatra binder and four different Dominican fillers: Hybrid 119 visa, olor viso, San Vicente viso, and San Vicente ligero. The popular Robusto format was chosen to provide a rich, pleasurable taste experience. An exclusively selected Connecticut wrapper delights the eye through its elegant structure. This Robusto starts off with leathery, creamy and wooden flavours, later unveiling its complexity paired with balance. The newest release from the Vault is arriving just in time for the Autumn season. The Siete Oscuro cigar was created by Davidoff's Master Blender as a gift for himself and his closest friends for his 60th birthday. The name takes reference to the blend of seven (Siete) tobaccos that is crowned by a dark (Oscuro) shade grown wrapper leaf.The cigar took inspiration from the Autumn season. This dark and oily, medium-bodied cigar offers pronounced sweet nougat notes, deep coffee aromas and complex and leathery flavour. The exceptional combination aromas are supported by the cigars vintage heritage: crafted in 2016 this small batch has rested and aged for five years prior to its release.
