The third iteration of Tatuaje's Monster Series has now arrived. This third release is titled "The Face Redux 3," featuring a substantial 6 3/8 x 56 toro gordo size with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper enveloping Nicaraguan binders and fillers. Tatuaje is manufacturing a total of 5,000 boxes, each containing 13 cigars, resulting in a grand total of 65,000 cigars for this redux launch. Among these 5,000 boxes, 700 are uniquely numbered, while the remaining 4,300 are not. Tatuaje's "The Face" gained recognition for incorporating a jaggedly cut piece of Ecuadorian Connecticut tobacco as the band, paying homage to the movie monster Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, known for his skin-mask. The Monster Series is consistently one of the most eagerly awaited releases each year, so act swiftly if you wish to add this one to your collection.

The third installment of the AVO Seasons collection has hit the humidor. During the fall season, the sensation of lower temperatures provides a welcome contrast to the preceding summer's warmth. The hues of the fields shift as daylight hours decrease. It's a period for contemplating the memories of the past year and observing cherished customs. The melding of the San Andres Maduro wrapper with Dominican filler tobaccos, aged for as long as 14 years, reveals intricate hints of dried fruits, assorted nuts, and delightful spices. In early 2020, Carlos Fuente Jr. announced  that Arturo Fuente would release a special version of its popular Hemingway line with a rosado wrapper as an exclusive for retailers that attended the 2020 PCA Convention & Trade Show. That project was unfortunately put on hold due to the Covid pandemic. Luckily the wait is over and the special project is back on track.

The cigar is called the Arturo Fuente Hemingway OpusX, a cigar that is described as unique compared to the existing OpusX blends. Fuente Jr. says this is a tribute to his father, the late Carlos Fuente Sr., who created the Hemingway brand in the 1980s. It will be offered in a special 7 x 50 size and it will be sold, at least for now, in a special Elie Bleu humidor that was designed by Elie Bleu and Manny Iriarte, a longtime Arturo Fuente collaborator.
