  1. The New Tatuaje La Riqueza 2022

The New Tatuaje La Riqueza 2022

The newest cigar from Tatuaje has hit the humidor in the form of the La Riqueza 2022. The 2022 iteration is essentially a tweaked blend from Pete Johnson's original blend of the cigar;the line was put on a hiatus back in 2017. The cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The wrapper covers both Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The tweaks Pete has made have made the overall blend a bit stronger than the original. released in a 5 5/8 x 54 robusto extra that has a covered foot and comes in 10 count boxes. The cigar offers a ton of flavor, body and value. However only 4500 boxes were shipped so these won't stick around very long.

  2. Tatuaje La Riqueza 2022

    Tatuaje La Riqueza 2022

Pete Johnson and Tatuaje are releasing a new spin on the la Riqueza blend. The La Riqueza was a cigar that is coming back after being semi retired by the brand. An interesting fact about La Riqueza is that it actually started out as a cuban brand all the way back in the 1920s; until Tatuaje decided to utilize the name. The 2022 blend will still feature a Connecticut Broad Leaf wrapper; with nicaraguan fillers. However Pete has blended this cigar to slightly more full bodied than the original. The size is 5 5/8 X 54 and will come in 10 count boxes. We don't have a ton of details about the cigar but looking forward to getting them in our hands for a review so stay tuned.

The Cohetes is Back for 2022

Tatuaje Cigars and Pete Johnson are bringing a popular cigar back from the past; 2006 to be exact. Pete is bringing back the Cohetes which was originally released in California as a store exclusive at the time. The cigar once again made appearances in very small quantities in 2009 and 2013. They were so limited that the vast majority of smokers never even had the opportunity to try it. Luckily for us this little 4 x 50 cigar is being brought back by Tatuaje for 2022. Like the T110 release from earlier this year the Cohete will be offered in 25 count boxes with three distinct wrapper options. the cigar will be available with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a version that wears a black and gold reserva band, as well as an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, which wears a white and gold capa especial band. This is in addition to the original version, which uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper. Like previous releases of the Cohete the cigar will be very limited in quantity so if your looking to add this

  5. Tatuaje Drops Another Bomb This Summer With The T110

Tatuaje Drops Another Bomb This Summer With The T110

Tatuaje has been on fire this summer releasing some extremely rare, unique and down right tasty cigars; including the New Escasos luxury sizes and a blast from the past in the form of the Fausto Old Man and the C. Now into July they are keeping things rolling with the release of the T110 in both Broadleaf and Sumatra. Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson nicknamed it “Thermonuclear.” Its official name hints at this moniker. The “T” in the T110 stands for thermonuclear, and the “110” refers to its length in millimeters. The T110 was originally released as a store exclusive way back in 2009 featuring a Habano wrapper. The two new variants swap out the Ecuadorian habano wrapper of the original cigar for either a Connecticut broadleaf or Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf, both of which Johnson uses elsewhere in his portfolio of cigars. The cigars are all short robustos that measure 4 3/8 x 52, and use the same Nicaraguan binder and filler across the three variations. These full bodied beauties will be extremel
