  2. The Lifepd 2.0 By Vaultek

    The Lifepd 2.0 By Vaultek

The coolest new accessory has arrived at Regency Cigar. Tech is becoming more and more intertwined with our everyday lives. The LifePod 2.0 Humidor by Vaulttek, is in my opinion the prime example of that in the cigar world. Vaultek has been known for making some of the most reliable, durable and hightech gun safes on the market. They've taken that foundation and created the ultimate travel humidor. The humidor features a spanish cedar tray to safely nestle your favorite smokes. The lifepod 2.0 is lockable and features optional biometric access. The humidor is rock solid and is dust proof, water resistant and airtight. The coolest feature is the fact that the humidor pairs with an app; where you can monitor temperature and humidity. On top of all the functionality the humidor looks great and is offered in two finishes black and antique brass. This is the ultimate piece of cigar tech that incorporates form and function to keep your cigars and valuables safe.

The New Tatuaje Verocú Havana VI Blue

The newest offering from Tatuaje and Pete Johnson is here. The new line is a variation of the popular Verocú Havana VI line. The cigar is called the Verocú Havana VI Blue There isn't a ton of info available about the cigar at this time but we know it is a Nicaraguan Puro; just like the original Verocú Havana VI. One thing we do know is that it uses the wrapper leaf as the Escasos line, which has been extremely popular. The wrapper is Corojo 99. The cigar will be offered in two sizes No.1 (6 1/4 x 52) and No.2 (5 1/2 x 54). Stay tuned for a review in the coming weeks.

  4. The Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla

    The Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla

The Tuxtla series is the newest project form Pete Johnson and Tatuaje cigars and is making use of one of the most unique wrapper leafs on the market which is the Mexican San Andres maduro. The Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla features the same Nicaraguan binders and fillers as the other iterations of the 7th; the major difference is the Mexican wrapper. The cigar is a 5 ⅝ X 48 corona. Personally this is one of my favorite sizes to smoke so I was more than pleased to see that Pete chose this as one of the Tuxtla sizes. The cigar is being offered in 25 count boxes with only 2000 total being released.  As far as the flavors go this cigar doesn't disappoint. The Mexican wrapper offers an abundance of rich earth and spice. The cigar however is nicely balanced with an undertone of sweetness throughout. This is definitely a fuller bodied corona that does a great job representing the flavors offered by Mexican San Andres tobacco.

  5. The Newest Project From Tatuaje Cigar: The Tuxtla

The Newest Project From Tatuaje Cigar: The Tuxtla

Another unique project  from none other than Pete Johnson and Tatuaje Cigars is here! The new project is making use of one of the most unique wrapper leafs on the market which is the Mexican San Andres maduro. Pete decided to call this new project the Tuxtla.Tuxtla is the name of the city and municipality that is home to the vast majority of Mexico’s premium cigar industry. Petes taking things slow and releasing the project in three initial sizes. The Avion 13, Tatuaje 7th, and the Tatuaje T110, all of which are limited editions and will come in 25-count boxes. Each of the blends remain the same as the originals aside from the incorporation of a Mexican San Andres wrapper. One of Pete Johnson's missions with this unique project was to show people just how much the wrapper leaf can impact the overall flavor of a cigar. People are now able to smoke the original iteration and the Tuxtla side by side to see for themselves. The cigars are limited to two thousand boxes of each size.
