About the Cigar, The box is adorned with six stars to represent the complex blend of six vintage tobaccos aged for seven years before being used in this extraordinary cigar.     Regency Cigar is excited to announce the newest edition to our humidor; in the form of the Davidoff Special 53 Capa Dominicana Limited Edition 2020. This cigar was originally released by Davidoff way back in 2002. This cigar was special because at the time it was deemed nearly impossible to grow delicate wrapper leaf in the Dominican. This cigar not only proved it could be done but proved it could be done exceptionally. The cigar is also unique due to its size and format. The cigar is a 53-ring gauge perfecto. This is guaranteed to be one of the most desired and anticipated limited releases we will see this summer.     Davidoff has introduced its newest edition to the Davidoff Vault series; in the Davidoff Ginza 10th Anniversary. Originally introduced in 2010 to celebrate the opening of the Davidoff of Geneva flagship store in the Ginza region of Tokyo, Japan. Davidoff has now decided to reintroduce the cigar to its Vault series; to celebrate the stores 10th anniversary. The cigar is a salomon that measures 8 1/4 x 50. The blend features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and binder, the fillers contain three varieties from the Dominican Republic: piloto seco, San Vicente seco and olor seco. This cigar is, like all the Vault releases, extremely limited in quantity. We, at Regency Cigar are pleased to be one of only a handful of retailers to be able to offer such a rare and unique cigar.

    I'm guessing if you're reading this article you most likely enjoy smoking premium cigars, but do you know what the process of making one looks like? Many of us enjoy the luxury that comes along with smoking a premium hand made cigar; however very few know the effort that goes into making the cigars. Making premium cigars like Padron, Davidoff, and Ashton can be  an extremely labor intensive process that can take several years, to go from seed to shelf. The purpose of this article will be to better acquaint ourselves with the process, and hopefully provide a new appreciation for the product we love.

    Every cigar begins with a seed. The seed itself is extremely small, its equivalent to roughly the size of a candy sprinkle.Just a bottle cap full of seeds is capable of planting an entire row of crops. The seeds are first transformed into seedlings, this takes about 60 days. Once they become seedlings they can be planted in the fields; where they are fully grown in only 90 days.
